Sand Beach Resort

We've been here six days now, and we're having a wonderful time. We never got tired of the food at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and I'd recommend all-inclusive if you can. If something is available and I ask for it, I get it. Mike the Restaurant Manager does a great job and feels like a good friend. Each day we get a reserved sign at the best table, almost like VIPs. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. We saw a man get angry on our Luxor trip, but the three young travelers had really disrespected him and others at the teahouse. Treat people nicely and it comes back to you. We booked a Super-Safari through the hotel's travel agency with Mohamed, a nice guy. It had a buggy, ATV, camel, desert zoo, tea, dinner, and dancing in the Bedouin's area, about 45 minutes away. For Cairo and Luxor, we booked with a company just outside Feisal from Nasha. He's a good guy. We got back from Luxor around 1 am, and he picked us up himself from the bus station. I had only asked him to teach me how much to pay or bargain with the taxi driver. He noticed my daughter was hungry and invited us for Pizzaburger and tea, which was so nice. Today we're off to Cairo, and we've changed the bus to a private car for a quicker, more comfortable trip. The sea-view rooms we booked are a bit aged, though the rooms by the big pools look more modern. Still, everyone has made us feel welcome, almost like friends. The check-in guys misunderstood when I asked for two separate beds, but they gave us a bigger room, so my daughter and I will survive, lol. We arrived at 2:15 am and were asked if we wanted something to eat. So thoughtful! Breakfast was great, with omelets, bread, hot and cold options, all you need. And to people complaining about the food, remember what you paid, and that you're somewhere different from home. We're right by the beach, which is really nice. The rooms could use a facelift someday, but they suit us fine. I've travelled a lot across North and South America, Europe, and loads of places in Asia, staying in good and less good hotels, and I like it here. I believe the way you shout out into the world is the way it comes back. By the way, I told the restaurant boss it's actually my birthday, and he's putting on a small event tonight. I'll keep you updated. We're happy we booked here.
