CASA LOKO Guest House

Getting here is an adventure, and it’s not in the over-touristed part of town. If you’re happy to work with the staff, this peaceful refuge can feel like a second home. We stayed in the ground-floor family apartment and were delighted. It’s a lovely oasis, with a pool, huge clean rooms, AC, and wonderful staff. It’s family run, and Mahmoud was incredibly helpful. The family matriarch cooked a beautiful Arabic meal at their home, which was especially lovely. Meals and drinks are easy to get at the usual times, but bring snacks if you’re heading out early to the West Bank hotspots. Mahmoud can arrange taxis, guides, and felucca rides.

The apartment is really big, and the swimming pool is nice. Ibrahim was very kind and helped us with everything like a friend. Abdulah, the driver, was helpful too and had lots of advice. Thanks to all the staff at CASA Loko. We hope to come back, see you soon!

We felt right at home at Casa Logo Guest House. The owners were so helpful with planning our days, and having a lovely restaurant right next door was really handy. The pool was a welcome extra on warm afternoons. One of the best places we stayed in Egypt, and we'd happily recommend it.

A month later, this is still one of my favorite memories from Luxor. I first stayed two nights, then came back the following week with my family for two more. We tried both a flat and a room, and each was kept in surprisingly good shape, even better than the Hyatt Cairo, no joke. Mohammed, Ibrahem, and their whole family were always there for us. Thanks for taking such good care of us.
