Once we were onboard, our time on the Royal Lily was just awesome, even though booking on the Accor website was a little confusing. We’d booked directly for our once-in-a-lifetime Nile cruise. Hossam Saif, the Asst Front Office Mgr, contacted me a few days before arrival and arranged an airport pickup. Our flight was delayed, so he also had box lunches prepared. It was lovely talking with him throughout the cruise. He’s a wonderful person. Royal Nile took care of all the ground logistics for our tours, and everything went smoothly, first class. Our guide Amr was probably one of the best guides we’ve had anywhere. We learned so much at every stop, with just the right amount of relevant history and information, and enough time afterward to take photos ourselves. The whole team, from front office to housekeeping and F&B, was cheerful, helpful, and eager to serve. We were really impressed with the food too. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and flavorful without being overly seasoned, salty, or sweet, with something for everyone. Kudos to the Executive Chef and his team. Highly recommend the Royal Lily. Book through Accor directly or, if using a travel agency, ask to be placed on this ship.
