M/s Renaissance Luxor-luxor 7 Nights Cruise

The food was low quality, and the ship’s interiors felt old and dated. We got food poisoning, with a fever close to 39°C, and there wasn’t a doctor on board. No medicine or proper help was offered, which was shocking. Completely unacceptable and unsafe.

The ship is fairly clean, but a lot of things were very basic. The food was average, towels weren’t replaced in the rooms, and drinking water wasn’t provided, so you have to buy it yourself. The jacuzzi water was really dirty, and the floor around it was dusty. The massage was very basic and left me unsatisfied. They say there’s a gym when you book, but it’s just a treadmill and an exercise bike. The massage bed is in the same room, so I honestly don’t know how you’re supposed to run there while someone is having a massage.

We really enjoyed the cruise. The staff were all welcoming, and the scenery was beautiful. The food was very good too.

I’ve just come back from the most beautiful vacation on renaissance nile cruise8-12 Feb2025, and enjoyed every moment onboard. The bathroom had all the essentials and was clean, just like the cabin, which was comfortable and had a mini fridge, AC, and a coffee corner with hot water, tea, coffee, and sugar. The food was very good, with lots of variety from cuisines around the world. The staff were amazing and helpful, especially Fadi at the main restaurant. Housekeeping surprised us every day with cute figures made from towels and sheets 😂. I do recommend it for a spectacular vacation from Luxor to Aswan and back.
