Mercure Luxor Karnak

The setting, the Nile location, and how clean the room was all made the stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, sorting out any problems and giving us excellent service. Having a taxi service was convenient, and the gift shops had prices that seemed much more affordable than shops outside. We bought a few gifts, and Peter, the shop owner, made us feel like friends. I only wish the hotel had trips guests could book, but the taxi driver helped us plan an itinerary, so it wasn’t a problem. We had a great experience and I’d stay at Mercure again if I return to Luxor.

The grounds and pool were lovely places to relax, and the view was beautiful. With the hotel right by the Nile, we enjoyed watching both sunrise and sunset. Our beds were very comfortable, the rooms stayed neat and clean, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful, making the whole stay wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious as well. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel.

We spent a week here and were happy with what we found. The garden was huge and beautiful, the room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The food was delicious, and we tried cocktails at several of the bars and restaurants. They were all very good. The staff were helpful and lovely to us. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We only had two days here while visiting Karnak, and I wish we’d had longer to enjoy the facilities. It’s a beautiful hotel spread over a large area, with fantastic Nile views, a pool, and landscaped gardens. I liked that the different wings were named after famous Egyptian Queens. We left early both mornings, and the hotel packed generous, lovely breakfast boxes for us. Dinner at Opet restaurant was excellent, with plenty of choices, and the lawns looked gorgeous at night. Our spacious room had comfortable beds, armchairs, a TV, and a tea corner. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was efficient. I’ll make more time for it next time I’m in Luxor.
