It was such a simple, peaceful place to rest, with a lovely Nile view. You can spot birds, a banana tree, local flowers, and sit beneath a mango tree. The food was great, tasty, nicely presented, and cheap. The staff were kind and helpful too.
The owner agreed to a cheaper price when we booked in person, but he made me uncomfortable from the start. He was rude because I didn’t laugh at his jokes, offered me weed, and flirted with my girlfriend. The place itself was just okay, fairly clean, and had no hot water. I was already going through a rough time, and after checkout my girlfriend left her phone in the room. When I called him about it, he started yelling at me. I had a bad experience here, mainly because of the man running the accommodation. He needs to learn some manners and politeness.

The host was professional and very helpful. The house is well located, close to the city temples, the Nile, and the Valley of the Kings.
