Our Serbian family was genuinely impressed with cataract resort. The restaurants serve top quality food, and the service across them is at a very high level. The room was spacious and very clean, and both large swimming pools were well maintained. The staff were polite, too. It’s in a great spot in namma bay. A big hug to the Egyptian people, especially the cataract staff. Room 722. ❤️

The rooms are spacious, though the design feels old, and the staff are friendly. I was disappointed with the room cleaning. Food is a big no for me: some dishes are gone within minutes of mealtime starting. The location works well if you like shopping, walking, and nightlife, since shops and cafes are right in the middle of it.

We stayed at this beachfront hotel in October. It was pleasant, tidy, and peaceful, with its own beach right outside, as well as a pool. For the price, I’d say it’s not as bad as it might seem. We had All Inclusive. The food was fine for the first few days, then became repetitive. I got vomiting and diarrhea from the sweets. If you don’t like heavy food with lots of spices, I definitely wouldn’t choose All Inclusive. Greetings from Bulgaria 🇧🇬

We booked this hotel for a break from everyday life, but left that very evening feeling anxious and unsafe. We arrived at 06:30am after travelling since 17:00 the night before, and understood we couldn’t check in until 14:00. We rested in reception. Three hours later a staff member said our room was ready and offered a standard or deluxe room. We said standard was fine, but after two staff members showed us both options, they kept insisting we take deluxe. I knew there would be an upgrade charge, but we eventually agreed because we were exhausted and felt we weren’t being allowed to choose the standard room. One staff member first asked for £50,000 EGP. I refused, then said £7,000 EGP for the 10 nights. Reception told us to pay in the room, which seemed strange. The staff member who took us to the deluxe room asked for the money there. After I paid him, he said that if anyone asked, we should claim the upgrade was free, and threatened that bad things would happen to us if we mentioned paying him. He left, then came back banging on the door and pulling the handle. When I opened it, he walked into the room and gave us bracelets for breakfast the next morning. We left that evening. The same man escorted us to the taxi we had booked at reception, and we went to another country to enjoy the rest of our holiday. We didn’t get to experience the area, food, pool, or room, so I can’t comment on those. But the two staff members who made us uncomfortable and coerced us were disgusting and rude, and made us feel very uncomfortable. We got a refund, which was good, though sorting it out was a hassle. Definitely won’t be back.

The beach is beautiful, the food is quite good, and the location puts you right in the heart of Naama Bay. I can recommend this nice hotel. One thing didn’t feel acceptable for a 4star hotel on an all inclusive package: cocktails came in small plastic glasses.
