Concorde El Salam Hotel Sharm El Sheikh Sport Hotel

My uncle recommended Concord, and on my first visit to Sharm I was blown away. I’ve been living in Australia and came for a holiday. From the moment we arrived, Mr Hamed & Ms Hadeel welcomed us, sorted out the rooms quickly, and gave us service and warm smiles that we really appreciated. We only stayed two days, and I wanted to extend the trip but had a flight to catch. The secluded beach was beautiful, and the pool with the bar was great. The experience and service were impeccable. Mido and Marrawan from the animation team also took great care of us. They put on a lovely show, then took us all out partying and having a great time. Mido had work early the next morning but still refused to leave us at the club. A great place, staff, and experience all around.

Watch out for a scam. If you booked the “Concorde Sharm El Sheikh Front Hotel” and they transfer you to this hotel because of a “mistake” or some other explanation, you’re being scammed. Instead of staying by the sea, you’ll be here, about a 15-minute walk from the beach or a shuttle ride to the Front hotel reception. The airport is directly across the road. Flights run all night and are clearly audible from the rooms. Depending on the wind, you might smell jet fuel in your room. Be cautious with room service too. Staff add their own tips, and it isn’t clear from the final bill how the amount was worked out. We had other smaller issues, but compared to these they hardly matter.

The front office lady Hadeel speaks Turkish and helped us a lot. Marouf and Alaa in the restaurant and bar were very hospitable, always smiling and helpful. It’s a comfortable, clean, wonderful hotel.

We had a really enjoyable stay. There’s plenty of choice among the on-site restaurants, the hotel is well looked after, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. I’d recommend it.
