Logaina Sharm Resort

We left earlier than planned, so the stay was a waste of money. The resort is in a remote area with only construction around it, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms were unhygienic, with cockroaches roaming around. We asked several times for another room, but they wouldn’t give us one, only insect spray. The bathroom was dirty, and there was hair in the shower when we arrived. There was no privacy either. The sliding doors on the ground-floor rooms could simply be pulled open, with no lock, so our belongings didn’t feel safe. We reported it, but they said nobody comes in and that there are cameras at the resort. I have my doubts about that.

It used to be one of the best hotels. Now it’s deserted, but I still love it and go there.

The main drawback is that there’s no catering service, so you need to plan a taxi for dinner, or walk if you’re sporty. Still, I spent six days here and left with a pleasant memory. The hotel is clean and quiet, and the staff are very attentive. It’s near the airport, Shark Bay, and a 24/7 supermarket.

The hotel was almost empty, so I had the pool to myself every day 😉. The room was okay, but mosquitoes bothered me a lot and I had to use spray. There was no room service during my stay, no fresh sheets, and nobody emptied the trash can outside my door. The resort was completely dark at night, so if you come back late, you need your phone flashlight to see where you’re going. It’s a decent moderate-budget option near sharks bay, and Gardenia buses can take you there.
