The apartments are spacious, clean, and good, though I imagine that may depend on the landlord since we rented from a private owner. The complex itself is a bit run down, and the pool areas are nice but worn. There’s a small shop and restaurant on site, and Naama town is just a 15 minute walk away.

I’m staying at the Rivera apartment now and it’s been fine, with no problems. The owner has treated me very well. If I need an apartment again next time, I know where I’ll go.

The pool and the other guests were the only good parts for me. There aren’t beaches nearby, so you have to pay at public beaches or sneak in somewhere. Check-in was a joke: after a long trip, I waited over an hour for the key in 40 degree heat. The apartment was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the resort is very old and poorly maintained. The owner did try hard to sort things out, but I was without gas for cooking for more that 24 hours. I probably wouldn’t go back.
