The heated pool was great, and the staff were amazing. Mohamed at the bar made the best cocktails, Salah looked after the pool area, and Abdul drove us back and forth. It was easy to feel at home here.

The staff were polite and seemed to genuinely want to improve my impression of the hotel. The sea was warm, the beach entry was good, and the food was decent. If you’re ready to pay for a 5-star hotel and end up in a room like the one in the photo, then go ahead.

The hotel could have been nice, but another hotel bought it, and that buyer is a 5 star hotel. They use booking photos of rooms from the latter and photos of cleo park, which is supposedly so beautiful and included in the price, but it isn’t usable.

There’s no Wi-Fi outside the main lobby. I had Wi-Fi in a hotel room or chalet as far back as 2005, so this is ridiculous. The chalet kitchen had no cold running water, and the water struggled to run about half the time, even in the bathrooms. They don’t spray for pests, the doors aren’t sealed, and something in my bathroom was leaking. I only found it after accidentally dropping a top. The rooms and pools were dirty. There was no transport across the street to take guests to the beach, even though a golf car could drop people at a cul-de-sac and turn the hike into a quick stroll. There wasn’t any conditioner either, just shampoo. They said we’d be in one of the “newer and updated” rooms, which is the crazy part. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if they paid me, and I’ll be glad when I’ve forgotten the whole experience.
