Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas & Spa

This was my second stay here. Most of the place is nice and clean, but the food is mediocre. I wouldn't waste my calories on it; go out if you want better quality. My issue was the spa. No one told us it was co-ed. Men and women had separate locker rooms, but there was no privacy after that, and we weren't told men would be around in the jacuzzi area or the other spaces. We were given paper bikinis to wear, and my mom was topless. If you want a private spa for women, this isn't the place. AMIRA and AYU, though, were FANTASTIC at massage. My mom and I got the best massages from them. They're the only reason I'm giving four stars.

We had a lovely stay over Xmas 25, spending 10 nights here. Our room had a view to die for and was always kept clean, with special Xmas touches. The food was okay, though I would have liked more choice compared with other resorts I've been to. Coffee from the hotel bar was best, and Omar always made us a fresh one with a smile. The poolside and beach resort were lovely. Abrahim Hassan looked after us, found us a lounger and was so friendly and helpful. He made us feel welcome and helped make the stay pleasant. People here go out of their way for you, which is lovely these days. The only downside was building work, which meant the Spa was out of use. We didn't get to try it, but I'm sure it will be lovely when finished. It didn't spoil our holiday. The hotel is right on the seafront, so expect to take a taxi if you want to leave the resort. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were really friendly and greeted us warmly, always ready to help. The rooms were tidy and clean, and all of them have pool and sea views. The beach was amazing too. I'd like to thank Mr.Ramadan, the restaurant manager, and Mr.Ebram zakaria.

Room 633 was spacious, had a stunning view, and stayed clean thanks to Hossam Ahmed, who greeted us with a smile and a good morning every day of our seven-night stay. We had the same friendly welcome in the buffet restaurant. Mahmoud Wasfy remembered our drinks and still made time for a chat when he was busy. At the far-left beach bar, Muhammed (alright) came over with two beers and a water as soon as we settled on our sunbeds, and was pleasant all week. Hamada at the lobby bar was lovely too, and those big beer glasses were much appreciated. At the dive centre, Misha offered an immediate refund when doctors advised us not to scuba dive, even though we cancelled at short notice. We took a speedboat trip and went snorkelling in the Red Sea instead, which was something else. All the staff were friendly and always said hello and goodbye. A lovely hotel that I’d recommend.
