Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel & Spa

The staff were genuinely lovely, polite and always willing to help. The spa and pools were excellent, relaxing and well maintained. Our room was cleaned daily to a good standard, though some shared areas felt dusty and seemed to need more regular attention. The large resort looks impressive, but parts of it could use an update. Breakfast never changed, and by the third day it was boring. The entertainment room was another letdown, with a very worn pool table area. Also, despite being sold as a beach hotel, the property is mostly on a cliff overlooking the sea, with little actual beach, so it may disappoint anyone expecting sand. I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. The facilities and staff are strong points, but certain areas need refurbishment, cleanliness could be more consistent, the food needs more variety, and the beach offering should be made clearer.

We were on floor 7 of the main building, right by reception and the main bar, which was perfect for us. The grounds look lovely, especially with the lighting at night, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The staff were very helpful. Food was nicely presented with lots of choice, and the outdoor barbecue was very good too. I'd certainly recommend the Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel and Spa.

The location is great, with easy access to the main attractions, a stunning view and just a short walk to the beach. One tip: shopping outside the hotel is much cheaper, and activities like boat trips and snorkeling can cost double when booked through the hotel, so check other tours online. The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Breakfast had a wide selection, and everything I tried was great. Mina, the head waiter, was attentive at every meal and made sure all was well. His warm, professional service really added to the experience. Mahmud at reception also deserves a big thank you. He was friendly and helpful from the start, made check-in easy and gave me all the information I needed. Thanks to him, Salah, Mina and the whole team. We already miss you, bro! :) The hotel was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas, and the staff clearly work hard to keep it that way. I had an unforgettable, relaxing stay at Stella di Mare and can't wait to come back.

The service from manager Mina, David Heni, Michael Maher and Rawais Rada was what convinced us to return. They were friendly, respectful and so attentive that they'd bring our usual ginger tea before we even asked. They really went above and beyond, and deserve special thanks. We had a family room with two separate rooms inside, which felt well worth the price. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were attentive, and we had a great stay. The food was fantastic, with an outdoor grill and lots of choices every night, plus delicious themed dinners. Evenings had a lovely atmosphere and live music every night. The pools were great, and there's a small beach on site for a dip, plus lovely reefs for snorkeling. We enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi and massages, and the entertainment team ran daily activities like water aerobics and Zumba. Truly excellent service, the hotel should be proud.
