Hotel Guayarmina Princess - Adults Only (+16)

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and Tenerife had glorious weather. It’s adults only, so a nice option if you want to relax. The sea views from the pool area are lovely, and the pool has a warmer side and a cooler side. Rooms are bright and modern, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Housekeeping were on top of everything, great work from Amanda and the team. The sunbeds are a little close together, and I’m not convinced the booking system works. Breakfast was lovely, but dinner was definitely a letdown. Drinks cost too much, even water, and although staff work hard, customer service was lacking. The nearby area needs some care. The bins were overflowing with rubbish at times, and the restaurants, bars, and even supermarkets looked very rundown.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was spotlessly clean. I loved the room and its beautiful sea view. Food was delicious and the drinks were good too. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, can’t fault it. I’ll definitely come back!

We had a pleasant stay, with friendly and helpful staff, good food, and a clean, well-maintained hotel. There are two large pools, one heated, and we could always find sunbeds. Reserving one for the next day in the hotel app was a great idea and worked well. Dinner had lots of delicious choices, though lunch was noticeably more limited. Drinks in the bars were good quality and included in the all-inclusive package. I especially recommend the Roast restaurant, which you can book every four days. The meat dishes were excellent. Our sea-view room was modern, spacious, and nicely decorated, but we heard steady background noise from the Iberostar hotel opposite, probably its air-conditioning. It made sleeping with the balcony door open difficult. Some rooms may also be noisy, especially those facing the seafront promenade. The open layout inside the hotel carries sound around easily: we could hear evening entertainment from lower floors and were woken several times by inconsiderate, noisy guests. The design sometimes seemed to win out over practicality. There’s a glass wall between the bedroom and shower area, so if one person gets up and turns on the bathroom light at night, it can wake their partner. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the facilities, food, and friendly service.

The breakfast selection was great, and the waiting staff always helped us find a table for eight at both breakfast and dinner. Bar staff were friendly and got along really well with guests. The cleaning team were professional and excellent at their jobs, our rooms were spotless every day. I’ve never seen cleanliness like it in other hotels. My friends and I spent five nights at this beautiful place. Well done to the whole team.
