The nightly entertainment was thoughtful and fun, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We were three in a room, and there was loads of space, it was comfortable, and room service came daily. The buffet was great, with so many foods that I tried things I never thought I would. There were delicious cocktails at the bars too. I had plenty of daiquiris by the pool and martinis during the evening entertainment. If you can afford it, I’d recommend trying the wellness center. I didn’t want my massage to end! This was my first 5* accommodation, and it was everything. We’ll definitely return, and it’s going to be my go-to resort from now on.

The hotel sits up a hill in terraces, which could be a lot for older guests. The food fell short of the promised 5* standard, with limited choice and much the same options each day. Hot food was only warm on most occasions, and the heat lamps weren’t keeping it hot. That could cause stomach upsets, and I didn’t see temperatures checked hourly as recommended. Drinks weren’t offered much either. We were offered one when seated, but none after unless we asked, while many hotels we’ve been to have self service. At the terrace bar, we once waited 15 minutes to see how long it would take to be offered a drink. Most nights I had to go to the bar myself. There were plenty of staff around, but they weren’t doing much. On the plus side, check-in was efficient and the porters were good. The hotel was clean and tidy, with good maid service, a quiet setting and nice views, and rooms of a nice size. The pools were well kept, and the lower pool bar service was good. The lady there is a superstar. The entertainment was pleasant most days and nights.

Javier at the front desk was friendly and very helpful when arranging an extension to our stay while we waited for transport. We had a wonderful time here, with an amazing pool and a perfect spot close to the beach. There was a good choice of food and drinks, and the staff were friendly. Julian and Leo went above and beyond to help me with my nut allergy in the cafeteria. My favorite part was the live music in the evenings, with good cocktails at the bar.

We had a large junior suite with a super king bed and a huge balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel has fantastic views, though there are plenty of steps. We upgraded to LEVEL, which is great, especially for people who drink. I’m not one of them. Room service could be better. Over 11 nights, they refilled my (FREE) coffee pods only 4 times, and after calling a couple of times, I gave up. It’s meant to be an adults-only hotel. There weren’t children, but noisy, loud Brits and Dutch made it feel as if there were, with ball games and floaters in the pool.
