Kross Hotel Vita Puerto Aguadulce

The marina has plenty of places to eat and drink, though the better value and quality spots may be a few minutes' walk away. There's a bus to Almeria five minutes away on foot, the beach is beside the marina, and the town shopping area is about a ten-minute walk. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and spacious, with friendly, helpful staff. Most rooms look over the marina and have pleasant balconies. They're large, with a minibar and fridge, though the fridge isn't great. The small gym is functional, with four machines and one set of weights. Two smallish rooftop pools overlook the marina, one for kids and one about 12 metres long. There's also a relaxation area with around 20 loungers and extra seating. Breakfast buffet is good, with the usual pastries, cheese, meats, hot food, fruit and yoghurt. Nothing spectacular about the hotel, but it deserved its four stars and is in a good area. I'd return and recommend it.

We were given a beautiful harbour-view room, well equipped for guests with disabilities, and the view was stunning. The hotel is lovely and perfectly located. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, especially Wilson in the restaurant. Thank you all, everything and everyone was perfect.

We spent three nights here and can highly recommend it. We arrived early and were able to check into a disabled room overlooking the marina. All the staff were kind and helpful. My daughter-in-law and I booked the spa, which was five-star, and Irina and Hannam were wonderful.

We went as a couple without the kids and had a great night out. There are plenty of places to eat and bars, and the port-facing outdoor area is lovely. We went out of season, with no English people in sight and everyone Spanish. Many of the younger people spoke English, and it wasn't too busy. There was a small market one day at the weekend, though I don't know what it's like in high season. Remember you're in Spain, where opening and closing times differ from the UK. Malaga airport is far away. We hired a car, and the drive took 2 hours and 10 minutes. It was easy with Google Maps, on one road for most of the way, around 1 hour 45 minutes. The place itself is lovely, modern, clean and smelled amazing. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good too. We've been to many all-inclusives and don't usually rate the food, but we were impressed here after adding the buffet breakfast as an extra when booking.
