BQ Delfín Azul Hotel

We felt at home throughout our stay, and the team really made it special. Aldana, Selma, and Steve at the front desk were always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Aldana and Selma especially showed great care and efficiency, and made a real difference. Meals were a pleasure thanks to Toni, the head manager at breakfast and dinner, and his team. Marga and Martha were lovely waitresses, and a special mention to Ousmane and Valentine too. The hotel was spotless, thanks to the hard-working cleaners, especially Katrina (or Catalina), the short one, who was always smiling and efficient. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed for six nights in August 2025. A few things made the hotel feel a little overpriced for what it offers, though we still enjoyed ourselves since we spent most of our time out. I'm not sure I'd return. Thanks to the staff for their work and hospitality during our stay. The food was generally very good and varied. Dinner changed daily, with plenty of dishes, most of them delicious, and an impressive dessert selection. Breakfast was the same each day but had enough options. The pool area was spacious and clean, with enough sunbeds despite the number of guests, and the poolside toilets were always clean. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily, and the small fridge was handy. Free luggage storage and €2 lockers were convenient too. There were several drawbacks. The air conditioning was weak, so the room stayed far from cool on hot afternoons. There was no parking by the hotel, so we left our car roadside. At dinner, water wasn't complimentary and drinks had to be bought. Even the breakfast juices tasted watered down and poor quality. We also missed having a kettle or even glasses in the room, which was probably our biggest inconvenience. Wi-Fi barely reached our top-floor room, and mobile reception was weak as well. The TV only had local channels, with no internet, Netflix, or YouTube, so it felt useless. Bar staff spoke very limited English at times, making communication difficult. Many extras cost money, including the safe, kettle, microwave use, and pool towels, and the prices weren't cheap. The rooms weren't very spacious either, even compared with some lower-rated hotels we'd stayed in. We had no noise or soundproofing problems. Our room was at the end of the floor, and as far as we could tell there were no immediate neighbors, so it was perfectly quiet. Different performers were scheduled each evening, but we found the entertainment rather boring and more suited to an older audience. We only watched for about ten minutes once.

The sunrise views were lovely, and breakfast and dinner had good choices, especially the fruit and salads. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though small for a four-star hotel, in my view. The setting was less pleasant: the hotel is right beside a very busy road and a noisy car valeting business, and loud music plays by the pool during the day.

The balcony had fantastic views, and the hotel is well placed for Alcudia Beach and buses. Staff were friendly and the service was excellent, especially at check-in and during meals. My only small gripe is that we could have used two comfortable chairs in the room. We'll definitely return.
