We rented two houses, both comfortable and well equipped, as a great base for exploring the Sierra de Castril. From the viewing platform, we watched a huge flock of Griffin vultures and looked at the stars at night. The lovely lakes and swimming spots were within driving distance, which suited us as keen swimmers. Many thanks to our host Sergio, Muchas gracias.

We stayed in two houses for a group trip to the Spanish mountains and lakes. The accommodation was spacious and worked well for us all. Everyone enjoyed the stay.

A very calm, peaceful place. The only little drawback was that the internet was weak at times.

Being able to bring my dog is the best part. The owner is always attentive and makes sure we have everything we need. We first went years ago in summer, and that stay was unforgettable. We’ve returned, and it’s still comfortable, with everything equipped and a fireplace for winter. The Sierra de Castril rural accommodations are spectacular. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back.

We had one of our best New Year's Eves at the Sierra de Castril rural accommodation. The little house felt luxurious, with a fireplace and hot tub that were perfect for my partner and me. The surroundings are beautiful, from the waterfalls at the source of the Castril River to the trails with walkways over the river. 100% recommended.
