Hotel Santa Cristina

Friendly staff and a nice hotel. I was very satisfied.

We’ve been to Santa Cristina several times, most recently for our wedding celebration, and will certainly come back to see old friends. It’s a real gem, full of character in a unique, beautiful setting, and very reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant food is consistently delicious and affordable. After skiing, we love using the spa, and having ski storage at the hotel is really handy. Above all, the staff have always been incredibly friendly and keen to make our visits pleasant. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We arrived just before high season and had an excellent stay, though we wished we’d booked longer. We’d already reserved hotels elsewhere along our trip and had to leave too soon. Since we’d only just started the journey, this would have been a perfect place to unwind for longer. The hotel was quiet while we were there, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Food and wine options were excellent and worth the price, and somehow we had the spa all to ourselves. We loved the interior layout, from the lobby spaces to rooms that flow into one another and out to the back. The backdrop and surrounding area near the Pyrenees are beautiful. The service stood out compared with many places we’d visited in Spain. We’re planning to return, and this is firmly on our keep-and-return list.

Canfranc Station and the many walks are the main reasons people visit the area, and the hotel can provide a picnic at a very reasonable price if you need one. We came for the first time and will definitely be back next year. The hotel is beautifully situated, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had wonderful mountain views. We ate in the restaurant each evening, enjoying the menu del dia with around six choices for each course, including a vegetarian option. There was plenty of food and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Thanks to everyone who made our visit so memorable.
