The owner and her mother were both so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel right at home. We had a magnificent stay in a beautiful room with unbeatable views, and breakfast was included.

The owners are very friendly, and breakfast is simple but has everything you need. It’s a quiet, well-kept guesthouse, with clean and tidy rooms that have the basics for a comfortable night. The beds might be a little hard, though, and the location does make it quite humid. There isn’t anything in Ordeña itself, but Santillana makes up for that. It’s only five minutes away, and you can reach two beaches in about 15 minutes. Suances and Comillas are close by too.

We stayed five days, four nights, and really loved it. The staff were so, so nice, including the sweet person who greeted us each day. Our room was spacious and super clean, and they tidied it every morning. The views were amazing, and breakfast was fantastic, especially the croissants. All that for a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re back in Cantabria. P.S. There’s loads of parking by the entrance, which is great for someone like me who’s hopeless at parking. The location is handy too, close to tourist spots like Santillana del Mar, Suances, and Comillas, as well as a supermarket and several beaches.
