Apartamento Santa Maria by Be Alicante

The location is very good and the hotel staff are really friendly. The apartment was generally good, though sometimes there was a bit of a sewage smell.

From the terrace, there's a lovely view of the Basilica. The apartment was clean and well equipped, with a small bedroom but a comfortable bed. The location is excellent, close to the beach, Santa Barbara Castle, shops, bars and everything else you need.

The apartment suited us perfectly, with a lovely view over a quiet square. It was spacious, beautiful and clean, on the fourth floor, with air conditioning and two bedrooms. The kitchen had the basics and the furniture was good. There was a sturdy sofa bed in the living room, better than the one in the photo. As women, we did miss having a mirror. The double room had air conditioning, but its bed was fairly narrow and the mattress firm. The single room had no air conditioning and a soft mattress. The bathroom was small, but the shower was good. Hotel staff were very friendly when we arrived and left. The main nuisance was noise from the apartment above. Heavy furniture being dragged around disturbed us late in the evening, at night and early in the morning.
