Apartamentos Boni

We stayed three nights with the family and found the apartment well equipped, with friendly, helpful staff. The central spot made it easy to get around, and the price was a real plus.

The apartment was set right in the center and had everything we needed.

We booked the priciest apartment because of its big terrace, but flat 52 is barely suitable for two people, let alone four. The terrace could seat ten, while the tiny flat had no closet, wardrobe, drawers, proper sitting area, or bedroom furniture besides the bed. We had to bring in a dining chair for our things, and our luggage ended up on the kitchen floor. The cutlery drawer sits under the stove at floor level, the utensil cupboard door hits the fridge, and there’s no washer or dryer. There were only two mismatched wine glasses. The TV hangs from the ceiling and was uncomfortable to watch without straining your neck. There’s no soundproofing either. This was our second visit to Boni. The first flat was excellent, and I’d left a good review, so this was a real letdown. Thankfully the other couple cancelled and there were just two of us. We raised the problems with Booking. Com, who contacted Boni. Boni didn’t respond, and Booking. com asked me to post a review to warn other travelers. I gave Boni a chance to compensate us before writing this, but they declined. Don’t trust the website description for this particular apartment. It’s not worth it.

We had a very comfortable room for our seven-day stay. It was clean, the staff were really nice, and the sheets and towels were changed every three days. The room had all the appliances we needed, and laundry was done on the 1st floor apt 12. The building is in a handy area, with shops and restaurants nearby and the beach about ten minutes away. I’d recommend staying here on a trip to Alicante 🤗.
