Our apartment was very clean and had glimpses of the sea. Parking nearby can be difficult, especially if walking is a problem. It’s near the church, which helps you find it. Worth a stay if you get the chance.

The location was very good, but the room wasn’t ready at the promised 15:00 check-in. We waited in the lobby and heard nothing until 15:30, and my messages went unanswered in the meantime. When we finally got in, it was a bit dirty, there were blood stains on the back of my pillow, and the shower overflowed easily.

The location is great and the apartment looks cute, but it could have been cleaner. The cushions, couch, light switches, and remotes all needed more attention. I expected better hygiene, especially after Corona. The bigger problem was the renovation in the neighboring building. It started early and went on until 18:00, with so much noise that it spoiled the holiday feeling and woke us on the first few days. We only found out after leaving the plane, when the owner messaged that the work was “unplanned” and apologized for any inconvenience. If we’d known sooner, we’d have booked somewhere else. The building is stripped from top to bottom, so the renovation looks likely to take a long time. Without the noise and with more honest communication, we probably would have given four stars.

The apartment was uninhabitable during the day, from 8am to 5pm. Renovation work in the adjoining building brought cement mixer, jackhammer, and hammer noise every morning and throughout the day, Monday to Saturday. Some days, a crane delivered materials between 7 and 8am. We were waking to construction every morning at 8. If we’d been in a hotel, we would have left after the first night. The owner knows that this work is noisy and takes a long time. They should have clearly flagged it and offered a significant discount, then let guests decide whether to rent. At €150 a night, I can’t recommend it. The apartment might be habitable in the first quarter of 2025, and then some.
