BYPILLOW Paseo

The staff made my birthday trip unforgettable, and the service was great throughout. They were attentive and ready to help with any problem. Breakfast had a tasty, wide selection, including gluten-free bread, which I was very happy to find. The gym was small but had more equipment than other small gyms I've used. The hotel's location was great as well.

The jacuzzi was cold when I tried it, though the gym was good for basic exercise. ByPillow Paseo is a beautiful, brand-new hotel, with a lovely interior. It's not especially central, so expect plenty of walking or to use taxis or a car. Room sizes vary: mine had a small bathroom, while my friend's room was spacious and had a balcony.

The breakfast wasn't worth paying for. The choice was poor, and every hot item was stone cold. We skipped it for two days and went to local cafes instead. The balcony room isn't worth the extra money either, since the balcony is tiny and fits only one person. Staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable enough for a few days. The location works if you don't mind walking a bit to the front, and being slightly out of the way means you pass lots of great bars and restaurants. I'd return to Alicante, but probably not this hotel.

The location made it easy to walk everywhere, and I liked the breakfast and the bright spaces. A special mention for the coded lockers, which let us store our belongings after checkout. The front desk team were so kind and helpful from start to finish, with neighborhood tips and ways to make the hotel stay better. I loved the decor, a tasteful modern mix that was right up my alley. I stayed in November, and it was a wonderful visit.
