Hostel Dos Estaciones

I stayed three nights and found the place comfortable, with plenty of space and fairly new, well-kept equipment. It’s really convenient for the Central bus Station. The only drawback for me was that reception hours are a little short.

It’s about 13 minutes on foot from the train station, five from the bus station, and around ten to the touristy center. For the price, this is a great hostel, and it was so clean. The bed and bedding were comfy, the sheets smelled fresh, and they even provided a towel. I was glad there was warm water after my last hostel didn’t have any, so I could finally have a proper shower. The rules felt a bit odd, especially not being allowed to drink, since I like having a beer with dinner, but I still enjoyed my stay.

There were heating problems, things were missing, and food was being stolen from the fridges. Some guests showed no respect for others, with alcohol and noise even in the rooms, and on several occasions people had sex without any consideration for those around them. The receptionist was aggressive and unfriendly. I didn’t think this hostel was good and would advise travelers to avoid it.

I slept well and had a good stay. It was very clean, great value for money, and the amenities surprised me in a good way. If you book, the website is cheaper, and bring your own padlock since they don’t provide one.
