The Lucky Flats - Belando Quintana

Our apartment was spacious, with a living room and several bedrooms, which suited our family perfectly. It was clean and had all the basics we needed, including towels, dishes, and utensils. The apart-hotel is in a very convenient location, and we thought it was lovely and good value. We'd happily come back. ❤️

We'd gladly return to this place. The location really won us over: it's an easy walk from the train station and close to the Mercado, beaches, sights, and loads of coffee spots, restaurants, and shops. We liked the amenities and the ladies at the desk, too. This was our first time in Alicante, after visiting around 30 countries over the past 50 years. We'd already spent a week in Madrid, stayed here for four days, and were off to Barcelona for four more before returning for another three. Spain has been wonderful so far. The food and sights have been great, and the people have been pleasant and patient.

The apartment was well presented, equipped with everything, and the beds were very comfortable. The soundproof windows kept the evenings quiet. Getting checked in was easy, and the free lockers came in handy when we arrived before the room was ready. The daytime staff were friendly and helpful. It's a perfect, spacious place near the old town, with the marina an easy walk away. There is a key box, so you don't need to carry the room key around. Fitting two keys onto the bulky padlock key ring and into the small box is fiddly, though; a slimmer ring would work better. Highly recommended, and we'll book again next trip.

Mimosa, across the street, was a lovely brunch spot. The apartment was clean, and the welcome was really friendly, with convenient check-out times too. The location is hard to beat, just minutes from restaurants, cafes, and the market, and about 15 minutes from the beachfront. Even though you're in the busy town centre, it's far enough from the hubbub that there isn't too much noise. We bought our own shower gel at the local shop because we didn't like the one provided. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
