We stayed two nights in this lovely city centre hotel. The road works directly outside make some noise, though there’s nothing the hotel can do about that. Reception staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful, and spoke some English. Our room and bathroom were lovely and exceptionally clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. It’s in the modern centre, with an easy walk to the old town and the fantastic seafront promenade. There’s no hotel parking, but they have a deal for discounted public parking just 70 metres away. Excellent hotel, and I can personally recommend it.

A really nice hotel in a very good location next to the sea. Breakfast was good, and the staff were the nicest. They were welcoming and helped me with everything I needed. Recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at hotel Costasol. The room was decent and large enough, and the man in the lobby who speaks French was kind. Breakfast could be better, with more choices and fresh items. I think hotel costasol has a lot of potential if it moved away from the kitch style and modernised some of the rooms and lobby. Four stars from me.

For me, this is more of a one-night stop than somewhere to linger. The room was small and basic, but clean and functional, which fits the low, competitive price. The bed and flat pillow were uncomfortable, and the shower space was the narrowest ever. The location in central Almeria is good, close to the port and bus station.

The rooftop solarium is a real oasis in the middle of the city, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a great little place in a great location, with simple, clean rooms that have what you need for a short stay and comfortable beds. My only complaint is the satellite TV wasn’t connected, so it didn’t work. There wasn’t even Spanish TV, just a blank screen.
