H. Boutique Peña Parda

The restaurant was a highlight for me. I ate there most nights, and the food was lovely, with an interesting menu that was well prepared and presented. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and did so much to make my stay relaxing. Pena Parda is a comfortable, well-equipped boutique hotel, with extremely comfortable beds and wonderful views from the balcony, both front and back. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

The breakfast was good quality, with plenty to choose from, including fresh fruit, hot dishes, and tasty croissants. There’s a large car park, too. I stayed for one night to unwind, and was upgraded to a room with a terrace. The bed and pillows were lovely, and there were bathrobes, fluffy towels, quality toiletries, and a complimentary minibar. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was magical. One small downside: smoking is allowed on the terrace. With the strong winds in La Herradura, our neighbours’ smoke blew onto our terrace and into the room when the door was open. That’s hard to fix unless the hotel makes all areas smoke-free. Even so, I’d happily stay again.

We were here for a wedding, and the staff’s enthusiasm and care made the celebration even more special. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is just across the street from the beach. ¡Gracias!

Our ceremony was on the beach, followed by a lively celebration on the rooftop, where the views made the day feel even more special. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. Friends and family had a wonderful time, and the whole wedding felt stress-free. The Pena Parda team worked together beautifully, making the day better than we could have hoped for. The hotel helped with all the planning from the start and went above and beyond to make everything work. Nani, a local florist, provided beautiful flowers. We had freshly cut Iberico ham, oysters, and excellent white and red Rioja wines from Martinez La Cuesta, along with our cake from Mari Trini. Everything was divine. Diana and Jacqueline were especially supportive during the planning, and the chef’s cooking really impressed us. No one will forget this wedding.
