The rooms are simple and very clean, and there are lots of cafes and bars nearby without the noise. Our hosts were lovely and friendly. We had a delicious breakfast on the balcony, with spectacular views. We’ll stay here again.

The staff were very likeable, and the room was clean, small but nice, with a great view. Excellent value.

Monica and Paco were so friendly and helpful throughout my seven-night stay. Monica even tried to help when the combination lock on my suitcase wouldn’t work. The hostal was ideally placed for most of the places I wanted to visit, with shops, bars and restaurants easy to reach. The village is on a hill and the streets are very narrow, so parking close by is difficult. There’s free parking about a 5-10 minute walk away, uphill or downhill depending on which way you’re going. My room was quiet and basic but had enough space and a comfortable bed, along with a wardrobe, desk, small fridge, TV, air conditioning and private bathroom. It was cleaned daily.

We were in the area for hiking, and this was a great place to stay. The room had everything we needed, including a bathroom, fridge, TV and a balcony overlooking the castle. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a marble staircase. Paco and Mónica are friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommend.

Hostal Duran has no parking, but there’s a very large public car park just a few minutes’ walk away. The hosts were amazing. The private room was a good size for two, and I’d definitely book one with a balcony because the views are stunning!! 😍
