Our ground-floor room was a real shock. It was loud, smelled awful, and had mould throughout. The bathroom door was broken, and the mouldy stench from there spread across the whole room. I checked older reviews from a few years ago and found the same complaint, so it seems nothing has been done about it. Maybe the good ratings are for the upper floors. We left as fast as we could and had to deal with owners who were very stubborn and wouldn’t apologize. Afterwards we found a nearby four-star hotel that was amazing, friendly, and really comfortable, and even cost less.

David really made the stay for me. He was warm, professional, attentive to little details, and went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed. At Hommyhome Vera Cruz, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and beautifully looked after. Everything felt considered and welcoming. I had a wonderful visit, would happily return, and recommend it to anyone in the area. Thank you!

The entrance door slammed so loudly we could hear it from our second-floor apartment, which was really disruptive at night. On arrival, we also found pillowcases with dirty stains that clearly hadn’t been washed. The host was rude, unfriendly, and unresponsive when we needed help. The apartment was short on supplies, and when we asked for a couple more rolls of toilet paper, we were told it wasn’t a hotel, even though supplies are advertised. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend booking this place on Air BnB, there are better options with hosts who know how to treat guests.

I’m happy we still have two nights left here :) The host is so friendly and clearly cares about making sure you’re comfortable. The apartment is amazing, right in the heart of Sevilla. Absolutely recommend it.

No hot water in the apartments! Everything else is great, but there’s no hot water.
