Absolutely gorgeous decor and a fabulous view 😍

Such an amazing place.

The rooftop terrace has an even wider view, with the whole bay on one side and the church's blue domes on the other, especially beautiful after dark. Back in the apartment, we loved lighting candles, pouring a glass of wine, and soaking up the atmosphere at night. It's the kind of place you'd want to share with someone special and leave with loads of photos. We stayed at El Amador again this Easter, our second visit, and we're sure it won't be the last. After coming to Altea for so long, staying in the Mascarat room made us feel as if we were living there. The entrance is so lovely that we often see people taking photos, though the inside is even more impressive. A beautiful clay staircase leads to a comfortable, functional apartment with lovely decor. Its panoramic living room window looks straight out to sea, and we spent hours listening to music and watching the Mediterranean change color. We never turned on the TV once.

Even though our visit was brief, we had a wonderful stay. The apartments feel warm and welcoming, with Levantine style showing in the decor and all the little details. Natalia, the manager, provided fantastic service, and everything was spotless. Being right in the middle of Altea's old town added a lot of charm.
