We always try to stop here when the timing works out. It's a lovely hotel for a drive through Spain, with friendly staff, dog friendly, and great food in the restaurant. I can highly recommend it.

We'd have liked a grassy spot to walk the dog. There's a garden, but dogs aren't allowed in it. Otherwise, this made a great stop on the way to catch the ferry in Santander: just off the motorway, dog friendly, with a large, airy, clean room. We had a very nice evening meal, and breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

The room was a bit dated but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed one night during a wedding and had a room at the back, so we didn't hear a thing. The receptionist was very polite. One of the bar staff wasn't as good, though it was very busy because of the wedding. The food in the bar was excellent.

A handy place to stay when travelling to or from Santander, and dogs are welcome. The room was basic and a little dated, but clean and excellent value for money.

10/10
The restaurant served exceptional food. We ordered fillet steak and apple pie, and both were reasonably priced and great quality. The staff were wonderful, and some speak English. The rooms are lovely and big, with a powerful shower, fabulous beds and bedding, and Aircon. There's free parking under a pergola. It's a perfect stopover on the way to Santander, or for lunch when passing through the area. There was no pool or outdoor seating with sun loungers, which was a shame in 39 degree weather.
