We booked a double room for €33 in May 2022, not knowing what to expect after reading the reviews. The hotel was empty, so I think we may have been upgraded. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great bathroom too. Our room was inside-facing, with windows onto the courtyard where the restaurant and office are. It was fine while we were there because nobody else was around, though I can imagine that being an issue when more guests are staying. The place definitely needs an upgrade, but at that price it worked perfectly for us.

We were only there for one night, and everything was fine. The room was big, clean, and nice. Not sure where the bad reviews come from, we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was okay.

Like something out of a fairy tale, this is a beautiful, old fashioned hotel right in the Old Town city center.

We had a fantastic meal there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year. Everything was delicious, the staff were lovely, and Manuel worked hard to make us feel comfortable. The service and central city location were excellent. The entrance has large steps that could be difficult for anyone who has trouble walking. Since we also slept there, I noticed the rooms are old and have a few minor issues, though that was okay. Those small issues are why I’ve taken off one star.

The area is fantastic, but the service ruined everything. We asked for a double bed and were given two singles. The room was filthy and wasn’t cleaned once during our three-day stay, even though the owner said it would be. The pillows stank of tobacco, absolutely repulsive. The room amenities listed a hairdryer, but there wasn’t one. Any other option you find online will be better, I assure you.
