Hotel Las Moradas

The room faced the street but was very quiet. The hotel was well presented and thoughtfully furnished, with helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. It’s in a great Old Town location, just two minutes from the underground carpark. A couple of small things: the only night noise came from doors banging, which could be fixed with simple rubber studs or strips on the door frame. Also, I’m not sure why there was a bidet in the bathroom, as it made the room feel too small. I guess that must be a continental thing. Generally, the hotel was excellent.

The staff were great, and the room was comfortable. We had a view of only the gap between buildings, and Easter prices were considerably higher than usual. Still, the location inside the walls, very close to the cathedral, was great.

Rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and the location is unbeatable. Staff in general were quite accommodating, and the hotel was surgically clean throughout. It’s fantastic value and I’d happily stay again. Breakfast wasn’t really worth it. At 5 Euros it’s not expensive, but there were only toasts, cold cuts, butter, jam, and a few fruits. The lady serving was very nice, but scolded me when I tried to take one cookie out of the dining room. I understand the idea of not taking buffet food out, but one cookie wasn’t going to break the hotel. La Flor de Castilla and Yakarta are both about 20 meters away and have great breakfasts.
