We found the staff at reception kind, friendly, and professional, and the facilities were good quality. The lockers on site were flexible to use, which saved us from carrying our bags around on check-in and check-out days. Shops and places to eat are nearby, the main attractions are walkable, and the metro is right next door with all the major lines. A great place for a family and a handy base for seeing Barcelona.

The staff’s treatment of guests was the worst part of my stay, and I found the experience unacceptable. I was made to feel unwelcome from the start: the receptionist gave no greeting or smile and spoke rudely when I asked a simple question about check-in times. Other employees were indifferent or disrespectful. Housekeeping entered without knocking twice; when I raised it at reception, they barely acknowledged it and offered no apology. Another employee rolled their eyes when I asked for help with a billing error. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this was by far one of the worst for staff attitude and professionalism. Customer service clearly doesn’t seem to be a priority. The problems weren’t the room or facilities. Until the employees are trained to treat guests with basic respect, I’d avoid the hotel.

We were sorry to leave such a wonderful place. The apartment was high end, with everything you could want, even a washer and dryer, and it all felt new and modern. It’s in a residential building just steps from Plaça Cataluña, with the historic neighborhoods El Barri Gotico, El Raval, and El Born nearby. The Rambla is a one minute walk away, and Passeig de Gràcia and the Rambla de Cataluña are close too. It sits between two metro stations, though we found we could walk everywhere. There’s also designated parking, handy if you arrive by car. All the staff were kind and helpful, especially Ariadna, who was so friendly and ready to assist.

I booked a flat for 5 nights at a listed price of about GBP 350. The platform confirmed the booking, and so did the property manager, who sent detailed directions. Based on that confirmation, I booked flights to Barcelona, an expensive, non-refundable decision. Later, the manager said the price had been wrong because of an internal error and asked me to cancel. I’d already made travel plans, so I refused. Rather than accept responsibility or offer a solution, the manager claimed my credit card was invalid. It had worked perfectly for another booking just minutes later. I believe this was an attempt to force a cancellation without owning up to the pricing error. After the card was supposedly rejected, they cancelled my booking and promptly listed the flat again at a much higher rate. They offered no support or solution, even though their error caused me a stressful time. Their actions felt deeply disrespectful and unprofessional toward a guest who had trusted them and made costly plans in good faith. I’m sharing this so others can avoid the same experience. Their practices seemed unreliable, with no regard for the inconvenience or financial impact. I’d urge anyone considering this property manager to look elsewhere rather than risk having holiday or business travel disrupted.
