Do not stay here, I felt unsafe and extremely uncomfortable the whole time as a solo female. The place is full of crackheads. It appears the hostel is located in a dodgy part of town, crowds of presumably Africans hanging around out the front and one shoved through the door after me when I was coming in late at night. He acted shifty in the hallways eager to know where I was staying, but I didn’t enter my room until he was gone. Could have been nothing but felt suspicious, as where was his key and the hostel is not staffed from 10pm-8am, so no one to report this to. No privacy in the bathrooms

The location is very strategic, close to supermarkets, parks, landmarks and train stations/bus stops. However lack of privacy for the bathroom as there are no locks at ALL, only curtains. It's actually very essential for female solo traveler like me

Overall good place to stay. No shower door, just a curtain fighting for its life. No electric kettle either. I panicked. Then I slept amazingly and actually enjoyed the stay.
