Gracia is a lovely area to wander around and explore Barcelona. The apartment was clean and roomy. You can hear pleasant street conversation and everyday city sounds carry up between the tall buildings, but it didn’t bother us at all. We all slept like logs. A great place to stay.

We had an early flight and were exhausted, which is why I asked more than once about checking in early. We run a tourism business at home, and when our guests make that request, we try hard to accommodate them. Here, the replies were curt and no help was offered. I understand early access might not have been possible, but a little empathy or an effort to help would have made a big difference. The impersonal, indifferent response felt unwelcoming and left us with a bad impression. In hospitality, guests should feel cared for, especially after a long journey. I hope this feedback leads to better service for future guests.

They push you to book on their website and take payment upfront through PayPal, then apparently don’t have your reservation. When you call to confirm, they tell you, “Oh sorry, no, we don’t have this room.” Scammers.
