The whole place looks lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. The made-to-order eggs were cooked as well as you’d expect at a top-tier restaurant. All the staff were welcoming, and our family of four fit comfortably in a distinctive split-level ground-floor room with easy access to the pool. We chose the hotel for its courtyard pool with natural shade and a nice cocktail bar, a great spot to relax after exploring. It felt like a small resort in one of Barcelona’s nicest neighborhoods. Passeig de Gracia and the picturesque cafes along Rambla de Catalunya were an easy walk away. We had a memorable stay.

The front desk treated guests disgustingly. They were by far the rudest reception staff I’ve encountered in any hotel in Europe or MENA, and that made the facilities on offer almost worthless. A friend booked a room, wanted to cancel, and they kept her money and refused a refund. These operations feel sneaky. Red flag, beware. I strongly recommend booking somewhere else.

We had a great time here. The room and bathroom were especially spacious for Barcelona, and the hotel felt modern, updated, and very clean. Service was professional, friendly, and excellent. The building is old, so the walls aren’t well soundproofed, but our floor was fairly quiet and we had no issues. It’s centrally located, with lots of great places to eat nearby.

The single room I booked was cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few things could be better: the room safe wouldn’t fit a laptop, and the door could use better soundproofing. The fitness centre had very limited equipment, no air conditioning, and its heaviest dumbbell was only 5 kg.

I slept well in a comfortable single room facing the road, with a good bed, a strong shower, and all the amenities I needed. You can hear people upstairs moving their luggage around in the morning, so the floor isn’t very soundproof. It didn’t bother me too much, though, and I still woke up rested.
