Barcelona City Apartment

There was no staff in the building at night, while drunk guests talked loudly for hours and fought in the early morning. You can even hear people using the toilet in other rooms. The apartments have awful sound insulation, and I had the worst nights of sleep of my life there.

The location was good and the apartment was clean, but it wasn't worth what I paid, even by Barcelona standards. I booked with Barcelona city apartment based on the photos showing spacious rooms, a balcony and good windows and facilities. Instead, I got a tiny ground-floor studio with no outside window and very little natural light. It was right beside the building's main entrance, so there was noise from people coming and going all the time. There wasn't a plug socket near the bed, and the shower wasn't very good. The apartment was completely different from the one in the pictures.

We had a perfect weekend in Barcelona, and this apartment was a good base. The neighborhood is great and fascinating to explore, while the place itself was tidy and comfortable. There was some noise outside, but Barcelona is noisy everywhere as far as I know, so I brought earplugs in advance. 5/5, recommended!

I've traveled a lot and never been anywhere this awful. The place smelled bad, was very dirty, and the air conditioning was noisy and didn't work well, making it a nightmare to sleep. It also looked nothing like the room photos. They say there's parking, but finding a spot nearby was almost impossible. We left the car in another part of the city and walked for over an hour. The staff were the worst part: unpleasant, didn't answer our questions, and never cleaned the room. If you want to enjoy Barcelona, never choose this terrible place.
