The water escaping from the tub was the main frustration. Its movable glass screen has to sit in a particular position, with the rubber base pointing toward the tub, but even when we tried our best, quite a lot still leaked after showers. We also noticed mold behind the toilet, which sits so close to the wall that proper cleaning must be difficult. The bathroom itself is large. The room is small, though there was enough space for two of us to unpack fully. Housekeeping came daily and replaced our towels even when we planned to reuse them. We slept well, and although the rooms aren’t soundproofed, we didn’t hear the neighbors. The 24-hour front desk staff were great at check-in and check-out. The location is convenient, by Sagrada Familia and about a nine-minute walk from the metro. Breakfast costs extra; we skipped it to try local restaurants and shops, but it’s a handy option if you’re short on time. Aside from the bathroom issues, everything else was very good, and it was good value for the area.

The front desk person when we arrived at night seemed either uninterested, unable to speak English, or some mix of the two. We rearranged the furniture ourselves to get the room setup right. Still, we really enjoyed our stay: the room was nice, breakfast was good, and the water pressure and temperature were great. The rooftop terrace is very cute, and the luggage storage was excellent, with a large locker and a key you take with you.

It’s an older hotel, but still in good condition overall. The location gets five stars from me. Staff speak English well, and there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, a pharmacy, massage places, and shops in the area. It’s also close to train and bus stops. I didn’t take any pictures. Definitely recommend 😊

The rooftop terrace is really cute, with a nice view, and the staff at reception were super friendly and helped us with everything. My friend and I stayed just a few days ago. The room was perfect for two, and our view from room 7 10 was interesting, though it didn’t affect our stay 😂. It’s a simple but nice hotel in a calm yet central location. You can walk to sagrada in five minutes, the metro is a few minutes away, and cafes and supermercados are around the corner. It’s easy to get around on foot. Great staff and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay again.

Russell at Reception was very helpful throughout our stay and always greeted us. The two young girls, though, lacked customer service skills. Breakfast had a good buffet selection, but the food wasn’t very hot. Our room was excellent, with a huge bed and a super-hot shower, well worth the cost. It’s about 40 minutes from the airport, with metro links to the centre and Sagrada.
