Beyoo Marina made settling into a new city easy. It’s in a peaceful spot, with the metro and supermarkets close by. The staff were kind and helpful, and I had a great stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

I had a great time there. The place was clean and organized, and the group activities and shared spaces gave me the chance to meet some amazing friends.

The bugs in my room were bad enough on their own. Spiders seemed to crawl in around the window frame, and they attacked me MULTIPLE times. I feel like the bare minimum is being able to rest in a room without it being infested with another species. During my first week, my sheets were changed, but I was given someone else's bloody used sheets, or the maid bled on mine and left them unchanged. I sent this to my program coordinator, who arranged for someone to replace them, but having someone else's bodily fluids on the bed was unbelievable. I’m paying almost 20,000$ to be abroad with this as my student housing, and it’s unbelievably frustrating. I rarely write reviews, but Beyoo Marina is the most revolting student accommodation I’ve ever had the under privilege to step foot in. There’s no sense of community, and the kitchen is shared with 10 other people. If you're studying abroad, get a kitchen in your apartment. I learned that the hard way. I would never pay my own money to stay here, and I already feel bad that my parents are paying for it. I would not touch this place with a stick if I didn’t have too. Do not stay here.

I met some really nice students here, and there were a few nice staff members too. But the bathrooms were freezing and had a strange smell from the time I first moved in. Friends had similar experiences. The toilets were always breaking and wouldn't flush, and the shower temperature swung from scalding hot enough to burn you to freezing cold. The kitchen smelled bad, had no TV, and was without a couch for a while. Staff hardly ever replaced the soap and sponges. The air conditioning often broke and leaked water, and the elevators kept breaking down. P.S. Please don't trust the five star reviews.

When I first lived here, finding one of the only 5 washers or 5 dryers free was a hassle, and they could have added more laundry machines for the prices they charged. The gym could also use more equipment, and the play areas needed upkeep. I moved out after a year. They had since added new machines, bringing the count to 8 washers and dryers, and renewed the building facades. The rent for the regular room I had also climbed by over 1000 euros. It was an awesome place to live overall.
