Casa Con Estilo B&B Barcelona Bruc

We had a great time here. The atmosphere was lovely, the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast had an amazing range for a great price. The Metro is right nearby, and a short walk gets you to lots of Barcelona's hotspots. Definitely recommend, 5/5!

We felt at home in this intimate B&B, and would happily visit again. The location worked really well, just a two-minute walk from Urquinaona metro station and roughly 10-15 minutes from sightseeing spots. It was easy to get around, then come back and rest. The terrace was a lovely place to catch some sun or have breakfast, and we also had a balcony shared with the room next door. Our room was large, clean, and had its own sink. Booking breakfast ahead was a good call, and everything was provided. The two small bathrooms and one larger one were surprisingly clean. There were a few hairs around sometimes, but people do use them. The staff were very nice when we arrived. Anna checked us in and helped with anything we needed during the stay. Thanks!

The location is excellent and getting around was easy, but I felt uneasy in the building from the moment I walked in and spent the stay counting down to checkout. We were there for four nights, and the old building had a heavy, uninspiring feel. The room had no windows, just a door to a balcony with colored glass, which made it feel even more closed off. The antique, red-toned decor in the pictures belongs to reception, not the rooms. Around midnight on our first night, the lights started switching on and off by themselves. It was genuinely frightening. The bathroom had one unlabeled dispenser, so we couldn't tell whether it held soap or shampoo. Wi-Fi was poor at first on the second floor, though it got a little better later. We were charged €15 for checking in late at 21:30, and nobody had told us about that charge beforehand. Room cleaning happened daily except on the last day, but the rest of the place still felt oppressive. Even with the great location, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

The terrace was lovely, the rooms were great, and the place was clean. I was honestly surprised they cleaned the room and changed the towels every day. The showers were nice and wide, too. We brought our two Bromptons into the room without any problem. I'd sleep here again.
