The location worked well for our week in town, and the price was good for what you get. The apartment itself was very basic: ours had a small balcony, a closet and other simple furniture, plus air conditioning that was a bit loud but really needed in the Spanish/Catalan summer. The balcony door was hard to shut and never closed all the way. When we arrived, there were stains on the bedsheets. The shared bathroom was fine and had what we needed, including a bathtub, though the shower looked like it could use renovation. The housekeeper was friendly and helpful. Breakfast meant a few basics like toast, milk and eggs, but supplies weren't put out every day and there wasn't enough for all four apartments. We had to prepare it ourselves in the kitchen, which did have the things needed to cook simple meals. It's an okay place for a few days, just very basic, with no luxury.

The location is handy for the university and Plaça Catalunya. There are four shared rooms and just one bathroom. Breakfast is included, but guests have to make it themselves, and there isn't enough for everyone. The kitchen is equipped, so you can prepare meals there. The shower stall was really dirty, with grime, mold and crusty buildup. The bedding was clean but unironed, and the pillows were tiny. There was also dirt behind the doors and wardrobes.

We had a nice stay in a room facing the inner courtyard, and nights were very quiet. The apartment is lovely and in a great spot for a Barcelona weekend. Just remember there are other guests in the other rooms and to be considerate. During our visit, some guests were shouting through the building.
