We stayed at Casa Lirio for 9 nights as a family of three, including our 2-year-old. Raul and the staff were consistently warm and helpful, and the daily housekeeping was thorough. We especially enjoyed the shared kitchen and coffee bar, and the big sunny terrace was perfect for slow mornings. Our toddler loved the toys, including a kitchen set, rocking horse, and ride-on motorbike. The hotel is in the Gothic Quarter, with easy access to transit and major sights. If you’re not used to old European city centers, the narrow streets might initially look like alleyways, though that’s part of the area’s character. A couple of clubs nearby on C. Sant Francesc mean you may hear people passing late at night, so light sleepers should be prepared. They provide combined hair and body wash, but a separate hair conditioner would be nice. A welcoming, well-located family option, with a few small trade-offs typical of the area.

Our host Raoul was incredibly helpful. We arrived without a UK/EU adapter, and he managed to find one for us. If he couldn’t, he was going to lend us his own USB adapter. The guest house is close to everything in Barcelona, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There’s a nice living room with plenty of coffee, tea, and biscuits at no charge. Can’t recommend the place enough.

Raul was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay, and it made the experience a good one for us. We spent 2 nights here, and the room felt cozy and warm, just like home. The location is amazing, right in the middle of everything. If you’re after somewhere clean and comfortable, this hotel is a great choice.

Raúl took great care of our luggage, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Hotel Casalino is in a great spot, close to everything and an ideal base for exploring Barcelona. We had an excellent stay!

Casa Lirio feels like a garden paradise amid the nightlife and bustle of the city. The rooms are clean, spacious, and set up to feel comfortable and relaxing. We stayed for 3 days, and whenever we needed anything, Raul was there to help without hesitation. He made us feel we had a friend on staff, and we’re grateful to him and everyone at Casa Lirio for making our holiday so wonderful. We’ll surely see you again, this isn’t goodbye. To anyone reading, go there, you’ll be satisfied in every way. Raul, you’re doing an amazing job.
