We paid 1227 euros for five nights, and there was no free cleaning. The site didn't mention that, either. Our two-year-old was sick, and we cleaned as much as we could near the end of the stay, but we had to leave very early. A few dirty nappies and some kitchen utensils were left in the shower where our little one had been playing. They deducted 50 euros from the 250 deposit as a cleaning fee without telling us. I only noticed the charge on the third day after checkout, and they gave that as their reason only when I asked. They also didn't tell me beforehand. Their washing machine broke on the first night, leaving us without one for four nights, so we had to carry dirty clothes with us to Greece. They should have compensated us for that, but instead charged a cleaning fee for a place that was even a little dirty after a long five-night stay. That felt absolutely unfair. Think twice about staying here with kids, or be ready for an unauthorized cleaning charge on your card.
