Easy Sleep Eixample

We had a great four-month stay in an apartment here, but they still haven't returned our security deposit, which was a large amount. I'll update this if it comes back.

The rooms are large and comfortable, and the kitchen is too. A few items were already stocked there when I arrived, but toilet paper wasn't provided, so you'll need to buy your own. There are no locks on the bathroom doors, which is a big problem when sharing with a group. There’s no reception near the apartment, just a phone number posted by the entrance. I had to go to their office, more than a kilometer away, when I arrived. Since I didn't have an active SIM card, sorting that out was quite a hassle. They could improve the check-in process. I also had to pay quite a large extra amount on arrival, besides the security deposit, and that should have been communicated beforehand.

We arrived at the apartment in the evening, but the next morning we had to go to the main office to deal with several problems. We had booked for five, but the place was equipped for only four, with too few blankets and towels. The sofa in the hall was unsafe to sleep on and impossible to rest on, and the two beds in the separate room were too small for adults. The washing machine was broken, and the bidet was leaking. There was no reception in the building, so getting to the office meant walking more than 1 km. The company’s administration didn't want to solve anything or help us move to another apartment. We decided to leave, and the manager said we had only one hour to move out, even though we'd paid for three days there. The service was terrible. If you don't want your vacation ruined, choose somewhere else to sleep.

We were really happy with the apartment we picked. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything five of us needed for our five-day stay. Sagrada familia was nearby, and the central streets and a metro station were easy to reach too. 👍
