The biggest plus is that there’s no huge security deposit, which seems pretty common in Barcelona. The apartment itself is worn and could use a proper refresh. Dust was everywhere, the fridge smelled awful, and the bathroom was cramped, with no window, a tiny sink, and an old shower. Several lights didn’t work, leaving part of the place dark, and the neighbors played music late into the night. For four people, setting up the sofa bed is awkward because there’s nowhere convenient to move the coffee table and armchairs. The place isn’t very practical if you plan to eat in: the kitchen has few supplies, there’s no dining table or chairs, no wardrobe, and no bedside tables for the sofa bed.
