We loved the accommodation itself, from the location and cleanliness to the staff and our spectacular view of the Sagrada Familia. Based just on the hotel, I'd recommend it 100% and would stay again on my next Barcelona trip. The problem was the airport transfer booked and prepaid through the hotel reservation. The driver never arrived, yet the provider's system marked the service as “completed.” Trust and honesty matter in this business, and that left a stain on an otherwise wonderful stay. Hotel staff tried to help us file a claim, but the provider asked us for documents they already had. It seemed like a way to wear us down, and eventually frustration made us give up. Canceling the prepaid return transfer was a nightmare too. Using unreliable third-party providers damages the hotel's credibility.

The Sagrada familia was in view from our room, and it’s only an eight-minute walk away. The room was an okay size and fairly clean, as was the bathroom. We had water and a kettle for making coffee. Service was very good, and reception provided what we needed. Breakfast was good, with no problems with the food selection. It’s not close to the city, though the metro is just steps from the hotel.

The location's the only good thing about this place. The room was pretty dirty, the staff weren't friendly at all, and breakfast was pricey for what you get. This really doesn't feel like a four-star hotel.

The breakfast buffet was a real food experience, and we got to try lots of Spanish dishes. It cost extra, but we enjoyed it. Our room was comfortable and had a fabulous view of Barcelona. The accommodations felt classy, and the staff were so welcoming and wonderful. Daniella treated us with such care that she felt almost like family. What a precious young lady!
