Fabrizzios Terrace Hostel

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one really deserves five stars. It was thoughtful of the staff to let people get their keys early, store their bags, and stay in the common area after checkout. The receptionists were lovely and helpful, and the toilets, showers, and bathrooms were very clean. With its central location and friendly policies, this hostel deserves to be known to solo travellers.

When my trains were cancelled, I came back here and would stay again anytime. Lovely place in a great location, with sweet staff and unlimited juice, coffee, and cereal.

What could make the stay even better is changing the laundry soap. The detergents used for laundry in Barcelona are often incredibly strong, and the smell can make your eyes burn if you’re sensitive. Unscented soap and no scented products would help. Otherwise, this is one of the best places of its kind I’ve experienced. The staff are attentive, friendly, and very helpful. The facilities are good and easy to use, including the kitchen, and the place is comfortable and accommodating. There’s also a back veranda where a lovely breeze moves through the whole floor. The marble adds to the distinctive feel. They offer hostel-style rooms as well as a couple of private rooms.

The price was very fair, and there are several cozy sitting rooms. Bathrooms are plentiful and really clean, with two kinds of showerheads. The staff were very kind, and there was free food.
