A good-value apartment for the city centre, with La Rambla a short walk away and San Antoni just three minutes away. We had a great holiday here.

The location is perfect, but the listing gives a misleading impression. This is an apartment in a building, not a hotel, and there's no reception. A very friendly young man was there to let us in. Some floors in the building don't even have electricity, though that may not be the owner's fault. The summer heat isn't his fault either, but the advertised air conditioning is only in the living room, not the bedroom. The pub downstairs was so noisy that opening the windows wasn't an option, and the apartment had no soundproofing to block the nighttime noise. It was listed for four people, but had only one bedroom and a sofa bed, with no sheets for it. The bathroom had nothing in it, and we had to buy soap. For the price, it wasn't worth it.
